Swissotel Sydney is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager with an outstanding reputation for curating world-class experiences and top-notch sequence of service for our guests and patrons.


Job Description

Reporting to Director of Operations, you will have the ability to pro-actively position and drive the business to stay ahead of the industry trends. 

What you will be doing:

  • Building and leading an opening team capable of executing our full offering to the highest standard to a discerning international clientele. 
  • Implementation and upholding of BOH, FOH and hotel systems to ensure consistency and quality
  • Develop a culture of quality through training, leadership and presence
  • Work closely with Director of Hotel Operations, Executive Chef and wider Hotel Management team to achieve hotel goals
  • This role requires the availability to work late evenings, weekdays, weekend and public holidays. 

Qualifications

About You

 

  • Hands-on, guest focused and can lead by example 
  • High standard of grooming and presentation
  • Strong understand of Budget, Payroll and Fiscal management 
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Hold a valid work right to work Full Time in Australia
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card

Additional Information

At least 2 years of previous experience with similar role in 5-star hotel environment.
