Job Description

As a Food & Beverage Attendant at Mercure Perth, you will work to ensure exceptional guest experiences within our outlets and across service periods. We are looking for a ‘guest obsessed’ passionate F&B Attendant with Conferencing & Events experience that thinks outside the box and wants the opportunity to make our F&B outlets the heart & soul of our hotel.

In this role you will:

  • Event set-up and break-down including service across multiple function rooms and event spaces
  • Warmly welcome guests to our food & beverage outlets, greet and tend to each guest with a smile;
  • Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities;
  • Manage the proper settlement of all customer accounts within our POS system;
  • Undertake basic beverage preparation, or act as a barista or bartender as directed.
  • Provide consistent and high-quality service
  • Be an active promoter of Mercure Perth and assist in implementing ways to drive revenue within our food and beverage outlets
  • Bring flair, passion and charisma each and every day
  • Be given the opportunity to have your say and bring new ideas to the team
  • Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
  • Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices.
  • Work across other outlets as required.

Qualifications

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Working Rights within Australia
  • An entrepreneurial style and drive for conferencing and event operations
  • Experience setting-up, servicing and breaking down events
  • Flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays
