About Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill
Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill is located on the central city fringe, just minutes from the CBD, Brisbane River, Suncorp Stadium and public transport. Overlooking the city skyline and Roma St Parklands, the Hotel features 179 spacious guest rooms with generous open-aired balconies, modern amenities, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, and an alfresco-style restaurant and bar.
The hotel is undergoing extensive refurbishment, including a complete rebrand and relaunch of its street facing restaurant. This opportunity is one not to be missed, as you will lead the team through the transformation, and become the face of Spring Hill's hottest new restaurant.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team in Spring Hill, Australia. As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving financial success.
- Lead and manage all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant/bar, and banquet operations
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue
- Create and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service
- Oversee menu planning, pricing, and cost control measures
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure culinary excellence and innovation
- Manage inventory, budgeting, and financial reporting for the F&B department
- Recruit, train, and mentor F&B staff to maintain a high-performing team
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate with other departments to support seamless hotel operations
- Stay current with industry trends and implement best practices in F&B management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within food and beverage operations, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make decisive decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
