Food & Beverage Management Opportunities - Expression of Interest

Nestled near Bowral in the NSW Southern Highlands (an hour and a half south of Sydney CBD) you will find Peppers Craigieburn. This elegant country property offers guests a range of hotel rooms and suites, dining at its Hickory’s Restaurant and Bar, and numerous options to cater for meetings and events -with weddings being a specialty! On your days off, why not enjoy the heritage towns of the local area with their abundance of elegant boutiques, artisan shops, cafes, pubs, wineries and restaurants.


We’re seeking passionate and experienced hospitality professionals to join our Food & Beverage team across a range of leadership roles:

Food & Beverage Team Leader

Lead by example during peak service, motivate your team, and deliver memorable guest experiences. A passion for service, strong communication, and flexibility across varied shifts is essential. 


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example during peak service, fostering a positive and engaging team environment
  • Upsell with purpose, enhance the guest experience, and turn challenges into solutions
  • Continuously grow your product knowledge to support service excellence

Skills and Experience

  • Confident in guest-facing roles with strong communication skills and solid restaurant or event service knowledge
  • Passionate about delivering great service and working collaboratively in a team environment

Restaurant Manager

Oversee daily restaurant operations, lead and develop your team, and collaborate on menus and service strategies. Prior leadership experience in F&B, strong organisational skills, and an RSA are a must.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily floor operations, lead service, and manage staffing, training, and mentoring
  • Control costs through budgeting, rostering, and collaboration with the kitchen on menus and offerings
  • Stay across industry trends in food, wine, and hospitality to elevate the guest experience

Skills and Experience

  • Proven leadership in Food & Beverage with strong organisational and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experienced in budgeting, rostering, and inventory management

Food & Beverage Manager

Drive the full F&B operation including restaurant, bar, and events. Manage budgets, mentor the team, and elevate the guest experience. Proven leadership and business acumen required. RSA essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead F&B operations and strategy, managing admin, rosters, budgets, stock, and performance
  • Mentor the team to deliver exceptional service and collaborate with the Head/Executive Chef on menus
  • Drive guest experience through promotions, packages, and service initiatives

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an F&B Manager or Assistant Manager role with a strong service focus
  • Proven leadership, business acumen, and stakeholder communication skills

Food & Beverage Conference Supervisor

Deliver seamless service across conferences and events. Lead front-of-house, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure every event runs smoothly. Experience in events, strong communication skills, and RSA required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead front-of-house operations, mentor the team, and create a warm, memorable atmosphere
  • Coordinate and support events end-to-end, liaising with clients and stakeholders for smooth execution
  • Assist with rostering, resolve issues proactively, and uphold high service standards

Skills and Experience:

  • Hospitality or events leadership experience with a passion for guest service and conference operations
  • Strong communicator with problem-solving skills, professional presentation, and attention to detail


All roles will require flexible availability across varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a current RSA
