Job Description
Are you passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences? We are seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Attendant to join our vibrant team at ibis Sydney Barangaroo.
The Role
As a Food & Beverage Attendant - All Rounder, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy outstanding service. This hybrid role requires adaptability to work independently or collaboratively, depending on daily business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional service in our Lot 51 café/bar.
- Assist with basic food preparation, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages as a skilled barista.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
- Adapt to the demands of the day, switching seamlessly between independent and team-based tasks.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Experience in small bar or café operations, with knowledge of service standards.
- Barista experience with the ability to craft high-quality coffee beverages.
- Competence in basic food preparation and completion of food safety training.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems or willingness to learn quickly.
- Applicants must have full working rights in Australia.
