Job Description

Pullman Auckland is looking for a passionate talker to join us as a Group & FIT Reservations Agent, in a large, busy 5-star hotel environment. You are a true reservations superstar with a natural ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time. You are a positive and a confident individual excited to work as part of a small reservations team of 4 people. 

As a Reservations Agent, your main responsibilities include:

  • Processing and inputting of hotel reservations into RESAWEB and Opera Software, with a focus on individual & group reservations
  • Quoting, Booking and Managing all group bookings in a timely manner with a focus on Inbound Leisure Groups and MICE Groups
  • Managing and reviewing of all guest history – merging guest profiles for FITs & Groups
  • Upselling during guest interactions.
  • Processing Weekly Commissions

Qualifications

Whilst talent and attitude are our primary requirements, you can confidently say yes to the below selection criteria:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated experience in client liaison
  • Confident with Microsoft Office, Opera and RESAWEB
  • A natural ability to manage conflicting deadlines and work well under pressure
  • The right to work in New Zealand for a minimum of 12 months 
  • Fluent in English, excellent communication and a great phone manner.

Preference will be given to candidates with reservations experience.
