Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Controller to join our dynamic team in Mercure Hyderabad KCP Hyderabad, India. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and driving financial performance across the organization.

  • Direct and supervise the accounting team in managing revenues, expenses, and inventories
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports and management accounts
  • Develop and implement robust budgeting and cost control measures
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations
  • Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to improve financial performance
  • Collaborate with the Director of Finance in overseeing payroll processing and distribution
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure timely reporting
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and payroll staff
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Qualifications

  • MBA Finance or CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
