We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team at Ennismore in a corporate and hotel focused role, as well as assisting with Ecosystem Expansion – the expansion of a number of our new business divisions and high growth business ventures. This role will be aiding our Management Accountant with maintaining the Sales and General Ledger, conducting revenue audits, being the link between the Finance and Member Services teams, and assisting with month-end tasks and reports. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth hospitality company in a varied Finance role.
What you’ll do…
- Revenue Reconciliation: Conduct income audits, review daily revenue, prepare general ledger bank postings, and perform bank reconciliations
- Sales Ledger: Raise invoices, provide statements and post incoming receipts
- Manage the AP inbox for Dis-loyalty
- Liaise with the Dis-loyalty team for Membership charges and other Membership related costs
- Prepare and post General Ledger journals
- Accruals and Prepayments: Handle prepayments, accruals, and other month-end journals
- Post month-end department reclasses
- Assist with preparation of the monthly P&L Pack reports
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of audit documentation
- Ad-Hoc: Assist with various administrative tasks as required, ensuring smooth financial operations
What we’re looking for…
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a Finance Assistant or entry-level Finance role
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities shift, and processes evolve
- Ability to meet deadlines for month-end reporting and help the team meet other statutory deadlines
- A down-to-earth approach with no ego, ready to get things done
- Open to new ideas, creative problem-solving, and trying (almost) everything once
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and a sense of fun
