Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Reporting to the Director of Finance, oversee daily operations of the Finance and Accounting department of the hotel.
  • Ensure that the books, records and accounts are maintained accurately and fairly reflect the transactions and administration of the assets of the hotel.
  • Devise and maintain a system of internal accounting control sufficient to ensure that transactions are executed in accordance with Management’s general and specific authorization and in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and specific country legislation.
  • Review and certify any hotel internal or external financial reporting before distribution.
  • Oversee the preparation of the hotel’s yearly operating budget.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position in an international brand. Remote area work experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reports (closing, P&L, aging, timely bank reconciliations, P&L details, aging etc), balance sheet management documents, cash flows, internal controls and other finance-related matters as per Accor policies and the Indonesian laws and legislation.
  • Working knowledge of EDC machines, MS programs, Opera Cloud, Symphony Cloud, FutureLog and Sun Cloud systems.
  • Excellent leadership, professional, time management, communication and administration skills.
  • Ability to multitask, flexible with working hours and ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
