Job Description

Join our team at Mercure Kooddoo Resort in the beautiful Maldives as an F&B Supervisor! We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional to lead our Food and Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our international guests.

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple F&B outlets, maintaining high-quality service standards
  • Coordinate and manage staff during shift exchanges, ensuring smooth transitions
  • Develop and implement efficient staff schedules to optimize productivity
  • Coach, guide, and motivate team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Identify and leverage commercial opportunities to boost revenue and guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative dining experiences
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards across all outlets
  • Manage inventory, control costs, and optimize department efficiency
  • Actively participate in service delivery during peak periods, leading by example
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and implement improvements as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in F&B supervision or management, preferably in a luxury resort setting
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
  • Valid Food Safety Certification
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to connect with international guests
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control techniques
  • Knowledge of international cuisine and beverage service standards
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Problem-solving skills and the capacity to make quick, effective decisions
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to work in a remote island resort environment
  • Adaptability to the unique challenges of luxury hospitality in the Maldives
