Job Description
- Support opening/closing operations and ensure outlet setup meets standards.
- Supervise junior team members and casual staff, ensuring tasks are completed properly and on time.
- Manage restaurant reservations, cancellations, and daily confirmations.
- Take guest F&B orders and provide service according to hotel standards.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures are followed.
- Upsell and cross-sell F&B products and other dining outlets to maximize revenue.
- Provide personalized guest service by remembering guest preferences where possible.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and report issues to management.
- Manage assigned workstation/outlet operations and assist other F&B outlets during peak periods.
- Handle F&B supply requisitions and verify stock received.
- Maintain knowledge of F&B products, preparation, outlets, and hotel services.
- Follow fire/life safety procedures, attend briefings and training, and maintain punctuality, grooming, uniform, and hygiene standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity in 3 or 4-star hotel
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Good communication and customer contact skills
- Service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
- Self-motivated and energetic
- Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
