Job Description
Responsible for promoting and selling the hotel's Food & Beverage products and services to achieve revenue targets, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Promote the hotel's restaurants, bars, meeting facilities, catering, and other F&B offerings.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities from corporate, government, social, wedding, and other market segments.
- Conduct sales calls, client visits, presentations, and business meetings.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and contracts.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual F&B sales targets.
- Develop creative promotions and packages to increase F&B revenue.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain good relationships with existing clients and regularly follow up on their business needs.
- Build a strong network with companies, event organizers, wedding planners, travel agents, and other potential partners.
- Handle client inquiries and ensure timely responses.
- Collect client feedback and coordinate with the relevant departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
3. Event & Banquet Sales
- Promote and sell wedding, social events, corporate events, meetings, gatherings, and other F&B functions.
- Conduct site inspections and presentations for potential clients.
- Coordinate with Banquet, F&B, Kitchen, and Operations teams regarding event requirements.
- Follow up on event details, changes, payments, and special requests.
4. Sales Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client information, quotations, and business leads.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Monitor sales performance against targets.
- Ensure all sales activities and documentation comply with hotel policies and procedures.
5. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve F&B products, packages, and promotions.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market developments and customer needs.
6. Internal Coordination
- Work closely with the F&B, Banquet, Kitchen, Front Office, Reservations, Finance, and Marketing teams.
- Ensure smooth communication and handover of client and event requirements.
- Participate in hotel sales activities, campaigns, promotions, and events.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel F&B sales, banquet sales, or a related sales position.
- Experience in handling corporate events, social events, weddings, and/or catering is an advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-oriented and sales-driven personality.
- Able to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and hotel systems.
- Willing to conduct sales calls and client visits when required.
