- Crear y actualizar menús, asegurando que sean innovadores, atractivos y cumplan con las expectativas de los huéspedes.
- Colaborar con el equipo de ventas y marketing para promover ofertas especiales y eventos culinarios.
- Supervisar todas las operaciones diarias de la cocina, asegurando que se mantengan los estándares de calidad, presentación y seguridad alimentaria.
- Coordinar el trabajo del personal de cocina para garantizar un servicio eficiente y oportuno.
- Controlar el inventario de alimentos y suministros, ordenando lo necesario y gestionando los costos de manera efectiva.
- Negociar con proveedores para garantizar la calidad de los ingredientes y obtener las mejores tarifas.
- Llevar a cabo evaluaciones de desempeño periódicas y proporcionar retroalimentación constructiva a sus miembros de equipo.
- Trabajar en conjunto con otros departamentos, como servicio de banquetes y eventos, para planificar y ejecutar servicios de catering y eventos especiales.
- Mantenerse actualizado sobre tendencias culinarias, técnicas y herramientas de cocina para asegurar la oferta del hotel se mantenga relevante y competitiva.
- Monitorear y controlar costos operativos de la cocina, asegurando la rentabilidad de las actividades culinarias
¿Quien eres tú?
- Estudios en gastronomía, artes culinarias o un campo relacionado.
- Experiencia previa como Chef Ejecutivo mínimo de 3 años en un entorno hotelero de lujo o de restaurantes de alta calidad.
- Dominio de diversas técnicas culinarias y experiencia en una variedad de estilos de cocina, desde la cocina local hasta la internacional.
- Habilidades de liderazgo y gestión, con experiencia en supervisar e inspirar a un equipo de cocina diverso
