Located on the pristine shores of Bluewaters Island, the Delano Dubai resort will boast an array of luxury rooms and suites, four exceptional culinary and mixology experiences, an ocean front swimming pool and a wellness studio.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
• Design innovative menus that reflect the restaurant's culinary concept, seasonal ingredients, and guest preferences.
• Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality food production.
• Manage inventory levels and food costs, implementing cost-effective measures while maintaining quality.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as health regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate food service and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and culinary innovations, incorporating them into menu development.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
About You:
• Extensive experience in upscale luxury hotel kitchen, with a minimum of 5-7 years in culinary leadership roles.
• Capable of manning high-volume, fast-paced operations and leading big teams.
• Previous working experience in a truly global work environment is essential.
• Exceptional skills in developing menus, creating new recipes, implementing ingredients and modern techniques, cost control.
• Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence consistently.
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment, adjusting to guest preferences, seasonal ingredients, and industry trends.
• Genuine passion for culinary and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, with a relentless pursuit of excellence.
• Knowledge of various culinary techniques / procedures.
• Strong knowledge of all kitchen operations.
• Creative flair and passion for culinary excellence, with a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
