Job Description

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences? Would you thrive in a fast-paced, luxury resort environment? Sofitel Noosa is seeking a dynamic Events Coordinator to join our team and deliver world-class events that exceed expectations.

As an Event Coordinator, you will:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute high-end events, ensuring seamless operations and outstanding guest satisfaction.
  • Handle incoming event leads professionally through multiple channels
  • Provide detailed conference and events proposals covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs ensuring revenue is maximised.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver flawless execution.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and logistics with precision.
  • Assist in coordinating sales forecasts and provide suggestions on strategies to achieve targets.
  • Stay ahead of trends, bringing creativity and innovation to our event offerings.

Qualifications

  • A strong background in event planning within the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellence.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
