Engineering Supervisor

Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel is a 620-room-and-suite upper upscale property. Catering for both business and leisure clientele. Engineering Supervisor

As an Engineering Supervisor you are responsible to supervise and coordinate activities of installing, repairing and inspecting Facilities, equipment for compliance with local authorities and company standards.

What you will be doing: 

• Maintain all the all equipment’s in good working condition
• Maintain all electrical/ mechanical control panels in accurate function
• Prepare preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment
• Maintain the cleanliness of all electrical panels, motors, electrical appliances, etc.
• Distribute the work to subordinates according to their capabilities to get the best results
• Ensure that the work done by subordinates are according to the specified standard
• Ensure that all related tools are in safe place and in working condition
• Follow the preventive maintenance chart strictly and maintain records for future reference
• Coordinate with other departments counterparts and ensure their satisfaction on quality and progress
• Create on the job training among engineering Employees and create opportunities for them to multitask
• Be aware of the emergency procedure in the Hotel and know what to do in case of emergencies
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
• Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
• Daily inspection of all the works done by respective technician
• Plant rooms regular round and reports all hazards
• Daily shift report and follow-up
• All supplier follow-up and project reports 
• Monitor productivity of each staff
• Training and recognition for the team

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role within the hotel industry, preferably in a five-star property.
• Proven experience in supporting or leading engineering operations.
• Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic initiatives.
• Knowledge of engineering processes, system design, and operational best practices.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Visa requirements:

Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
