The Novotel Rotorua Lakeside and Ibis Rotorua are dual branded complex hotels with 344 rooms located in central Rotorua.
Our two hotels include, Atlas Café & Restaurant and Clarkes Bar, ibis restaurant. 10 conference/Banquet rooms and InBalance Fitness Centre.
As a Duty Manager, you will be a source of problem solving, elite customer service and the essence of calm across the Front Office and Reservations teams for both sites.
You will be use to shift work, working 10 hour shifts (6am to 4.30pm or 4pm to 2.30am) on rotating rosters. These rosters will also mean weekend and evening work is required.
You will be a master at leading, training and motivating team members across these two sites and you will have an infectious enthusiasm and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Preferred experience:
• At least one year of proven experience in a supervisory or team leader position, ideally within a Front Office and Reservations environment
• Must hold a Current General Mangers certificate or ability to obtain one
• Knowledge of Opera, Opera Cloud or similar property operation system
