Ideal for functions, ibis Perth also offers three meeting rooms catering for 200 people.


Job Description

As Duty Manager, you will support the Front Office Manager in the daily management of the Front Office department – leading all work of Front Office Team Members, and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the department during your shift while ensuring guest comfort and exceptional service at all times.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervision, support, and training of Front Office Team members.
  • Leading by example in providing passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to all guests at all times.
  • Deal effectively with guest complaints and feedback in an efficient and professional manner
  • Implementing strategies to increase productivity and morale
  • Promoting the Accor Live Limitless Loyalty Program
  • Ability to work a flexible 7-day roster including AM, PM and night shifts as required.

You will also be well-presented with a positive and professional attitude and have a passion for hotel operations and providing exceptional customer service.


Qualifications

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role plus:

  • C Class Manual Driver’s Licence (essential)
  • Previous hotel experience in Front Office GSA/Supervisor or DM role (min 2 years)
  • Approved Manager Licence and RSA
  • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to motivate team members
  • Time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Opera experience desirable
  • Ability to work across a 7-day roster
