Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic and organized Duty Manager to join our team in Mysuru, India. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and lead our front office team with professionalism and enthusiasm. As a Duty Manager, you will be the backbone of our operational excellence, balancing administrative responsibilities with genuine care for both our guests and team members.

  • Ensure all Front Office Standard Operating Procedures and policies are consistently implemented across all guest interactions and team operations
  • Provide warm, welcoming service to guests while maintaining our organization's brand standards and service excellence
  • Lead, motivate, and provide guidance to the Front Office team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
  • Manage daily operational activities, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
  • Analyze operational metrics and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive goal achievement
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints with empathy and decisiveness, resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of daily operations, incidents, and team performance
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Conduct staff onboarding, training, and performance reviews to support team development and growth
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and crisis management skills in high-pressure situations
  • Communicate transparently with team members at all levels, fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in the service industry, with at least 1 year in a duty management or front office operations role
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and related hospitality software
  • Strong knowledge of front office operations, guest services, and hospitality best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
  • Multicultural awareness with the ability to communicate and collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Proven resilience and ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
