Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Director of Spa and Wellness to lead our "Fairmont Spa & Longevity Suite" team at Fairmont Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of spa operations, a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences, and innovative ideas to elevate our spa offerings, particularly with the inclusion of the longevity suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive spa revenue, enhance guest satisfaction, and maintain operational excellence.

  • Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of spa professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest receives personalized attention and enjoys a memorable spa experience that exceeds their expectations.

  • Longevity Suite Management: Oversee the operations of the longevity suite, including developing unique wellness programs, collaborating with wellness experts, and ensuring the highest standards of service.

  • Financial Management: Manage spa budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue through effective pricing strategies and promotional initiatives.

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene throughout the spa facility, adhering to regulatory requirements and brand standards.

  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for spa staff, empowering them to deliver exceptional service and grow their skills.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other hotel departments to promote spa services, coordinate special events, and enhance the overall guest experience.

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands, and use this knowledge to develop innovative spa offerings and marketing strategies.

 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Spa Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in spa management, with a proven track record of success in a luxury hotel or resort environment.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Passion for wellness and a deep understanding of holistic health practices.

  • Experience managing a longevity suite or similar wellness facility is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in spa software and Microsoft Office suite.
