We're looking for an accomplished and visionary Director of Sales to lead our sales organization in Kathmandu, Nepal. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive revenue growth, build and mentor a high-performing sales team, and develop innovative strategies that position our organization for sustainable success in a competitive market. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for translating market opportunities into measurable results while fostering a collaborative and customer-focused sales culture.
- Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational goals and market dynamics to drive revenue growth and market expansion
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decision-making
- Establish and manage sales territories, quotas, and performance metrics to ensure team accountability and drive above-target results
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and stakeholders to support long-term business growth
- Develop and manage the annual sales budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximizing return on investment
- Implement and optimize sales processes, tools, and systems to enhance team productivity and streamline operations
- Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics and key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and customer success to align efforts and deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to sales team members, supporting their professional development and career progression
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance sales strategies and maintain competitive advantage
- Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in response to changing market conditions and organizational priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in senior sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies
- Demonstrated expertise in building, scaling, and managing high-performing sales teams in a results-driven environment
- Strong proficiency with CRM software, sales analytics tools, and digital sales platforms
- Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Proven experience in revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and sales process optimization
- Solid understanding of market segments, customer behavior patterns, and industry trends relevant to our business
- Experience in budget management, financial planning, and resource allocation
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt strategies to changing market conditions
- Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships
- Innovative approach to problem-solving with a willingness to challenge conventional thinking and drive organizational improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups
- Preferred: Experience in the regional market or familiarity with the Kathmandu business landscape
