Job Description

Position Summary:

Hyde Bodrum is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales to lead the property’s sales function and drive commercial performance across all segments. The role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that maximize revenue, market share, and brand awareness in alignment with Hyde’s playful, boundary-pushing lifestyle identity.

The Director of Sales will oversee the proactive and reactive sales teams, build strong client partnerships, and represent Hyde Bodrum in key markets and trade channels to position the property as a leading lifestyle destination in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and manage the annual sales plan and budget aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Lead the sales team to achieve property revenue targets across corporate, leisure, MICE, and group segments.
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets to ensure sustainable revenue growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, global travel partners, and corporate clients.
  • Ensure that all sales initiatives are aligned with the brand positioning and guest experience vision of Hyde.

Team Management & Development

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to deliver performance excellence and a results-driven culture.
  • Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and sales training to enhance team capabilities.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with revenue management, marketing, and reservations teams.

Business Development & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and business opportunities.
  • Develop targeted action plans to penetrate new markets and segments.
  • Represent Hyde Bodrum at trade shows, roadshows, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Maintain close coordination with the regional and global sales offices to optimize brand synergies and lead generation.

Revenue Optimization & Reporting

  • Work closely with Revenue and Marketing teams to drive optimal pricing, yield management, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics (e.g., revenue, market share, conversion rates) and report key insights to senior management.
  • Ensure all sales contracts, rate structures, and terms are in compliance with company policies and profitability guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role within a luxury or lifestyle hotel.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
  • Strong network of contacts within leisure, corporate, and MICE segments, ideally within Turkey and key international feeder markets.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on leadership and team development experience.
  • Proficiency in Opera, Delphi, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Accor systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Turkish is highly preferred.
