What you will be doing:
As Director of Sales & Marketing for Novotel & ibis Styles Melbourne Airport, you'll lead the commercial engine of a dual-brand, high-volume airport property and no two days will look the same.
- Drive revenue across all segments — secure Corporate, Domestic, Leisure, Conferencing (internal and external) and Incentive business, then sustain, maximise, yield and grow each segment to hit and exceed budgeted revenue.
- Own the strategy — read market conditions with a commercial eye, develop sharp strategies for the business unit, and implement them with the pace and precision our high-performance environment demands.
- Lead the Business, Events and Groups Department — coach, motivate and grow the team to unlock every opportunity in this thriving sector, from intimate boardroom sessions to large-scale conferences and events.
- Steer the Digital, Marketing and PR function — oversee all activity across digital channels, marketing campaigns and public relations, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Accor's brand guidelines and standards, while championing our venues, precinct partnerships and the unique personality of both brands.
