Job Description

As Director of Revenue at Faena The Red Sea, you will be pivotal in driving strategic revenue management initiatives across the portfolio. Your insights and leadership will directly influence demand optimization, pricing strategies, and financial performance, helping us deliver on our promise of exceptional luxury and guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support Faena Hotels by analyzing group and transient business trends over a five-year horizon, ensuring measurable improvements in demand, availability, and revenue.
  • Deliver critical, data-driven analysis on short-term revenue impacts, influencing occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and overall rooms profitability within the 53-week operational period.
  • Engage actively in daily revenue meetings, sales strategy sessions, and property visits to ensure alignment and agile response to market conditions.
  • Analyze STAR Reports and RevPAR index changes, applying insights to forecast trends and guide revenue strategies.
  • Develop and share revenue management best practices that enhance portfolio-wide performance.
  • Stay attuned to industry, market, and economic trends, communicating findings to leadership and guidance teams.
  • Partner with marketing to drive demand during low periods through targeted campaigns and strategic offers that boost bookings and revenue.
  • Lead monthly forecast reviews with a goal of maintaining forecast accuracy within ±5% across all properties.
  • Support the annual operating plan and develop an annual revenue management strategy aligned with Faena’s vision.
  • Cultivate relationships with brand partners, ownership, third-party online travel agencies, and industry groups like HSMAI and local educational institutions.
  • Support high-level displacement analysis and revenue decisions for group business, including extended stays.
  • Guide the annual RFP process with strategic insights and oversight.
  • Train sales and front office teams on revenue management principles and tools, empowering them to maximize revenue potential.
  • Champion the effective use of revenue management technology across all properties and brands within the portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (minimum 7–10 years) in Revenue Management within luxury or lifestyle hospitality brands, preferably managing multi-property portfolios.
  • Strong expertise in forecasting, pricing strategies, and demand management to maximize RevPAR and overall revenue performance.
  • Proficient in revenue management systems such as IDeaS, Duetto, or similar platforms, along with hotel PMS and CRM tools.
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze STAR reports, market trends, and financial data to inform strategic decisions and revenue plans.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience training and mentoring teams to enhance revenue management knowledge and capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, brand positioning, and guest experience excellence.
