Job Description

 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive revenue growth for the property
  • Lead the marketing team and manage all aspects of digital marketing, including website optimization, social media management, email campaigns, and online advertising
  • Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints
  • Manage public relations activities, media relations, and crisis communications to maintain positive brand reputation
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities and inform strategic marketing initiatives
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, track expenditures, and measure return on investment (ROI) for all marketing campaigns
  • Create and implement promotional campaigns and seasonal marketing programs to maximize occupancy rates and revenue
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and guest services teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and enhance overall guest experience
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and tourism boards to expand market reach
  • Analyze marketing metrics and performance data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Manage event marketing and coordinate promotional activities for conferences, weddings, and special occasions
  • Oversee internal communications to ensure staff engagement and alignment with organizational goals
  • Develop content strategy and oversee creation of marketing materials, including photography, videography, and written content
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging marketing technologies to keep the property competitive in the luxury hospitality market

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive marketing and communications experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury hotel properties
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and brand awareness
  • Strong leadership experience managing marketing teams of 5+ members
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, including website management, social media strategy, and online advertising platforms
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling brand messaging
  • Experience managing marketing budgets of $500,000 or more and demonstrating strong ROI
  • Knowledge of public relations, media relations, and crisis communication management
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry trends, competitive landscape, and luxury market positioning
  • Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
  • Experience with luxury hospitality brands or high-end resort properties
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Background in event marketing and promotional campaign management
  • Experience with content creation, photography, and videography coordination
  • Knowledge of travel industry partnerships, including travel agencies and tourism boards
  • Certification in digital marketing or hospitality management
  • Experience with crisis communication and reputation management in high-profile settings
