Job Description

*Strategic Leadership & Operations

  • 
Oversee all engineering, maintenance, and facility operations for hotel and casino areas
  • Ensure 24/7 operational reliability of critical systems (HVAC, power, water, fire & life safety)
  • Lead long-term asset management and capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., DOLE, DENR, BFP, LGU) and safety standards

*Technology & Smart Facility Management

  • Drive implementation of Smart Building Systems (BMS, IoT, AI-driven predictive maintenance)
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for asset tracking and performance
  • Integrate energy management systems to optimize consumption and cost efficiency
  • Champion digital dashboards and data analytics for real-time decision-making
  • Ensure cybersecurity awareness in building systems and operational technologies

*Integrated Resort & Casino Support

  • Ensure high uptime and reliability of casino-critical systems (lighting, surveillance support, gaming environment controls)
  • Coordinate with casino operations and IT for uninterrupted guest and gaming experience
  • Maintain luxury ambiance standards across gaming floors and hotel facilities

*Sustainability & ESG Initiatives

  • Lead sustainability programs aligned with global hospitality standards
  • Drive initiatives on:
    •  Energy efficiency
    • Water conservation
    • Waste management
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and reporting standards

*Financial Management

  • Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets effectively
  • Optimize cost efficiency without compromising quality or safety
  • Lead procurement strategies for equipment, systems, and service contracts

*Risk, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to:
    • Fire & Life Safety system
    • Occupational health and safety standards
  • Lead emergency preparedness and crisis management plans
  • Conduct regular audits and preventive maintenance programs

*Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering and facilities team
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence
  • Collaborate with HR (People & Culture) on succession planning and capability building

*Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage third-party contractors and service providers
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with:
    • Rooms Division
    • Food & Beverage
    • IT
    • Security
    • Casino Operations

Qualifications

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
•    Licensed Engineer 
•    Minimum 10–15 years of experience in facilities/engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
•    Experience in luxury/premium hotels, integrated resorts, or casino environments is highly preferred

Technical Competencies
•    Strong knowledge of:
o    Building Management Systems (BMS)
o    CMMS platforms
o    Energy management systems
o    Preventive and predictive maintenance
•    Familiarity with smart building technologies and automation
•    Financial acumen in budgeting and cost control
