Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Food & Beverage to join our luxury resort in the beautiful coastal city of Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. As a key member of our executive team, you will oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our discerning guests while managing a large team of professionals.

  • Develop and implement innovative food and beverage concepts that align with our luxury brand standards
  • Lead and inspire a large team of food and beverage professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Oversee menu planning, pricing strategies, and cost control measures across multiple dining outlets
  • Manage budgets, financial forecasting, and profit and loss statements for the F&B department
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborate with other department heads to enhance overall guest satisfaction and drive revenue
  • Stay current with industry trends and implement best practices in food and beverage service
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints, maintaining the highest standards of customer service
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors
  • Organize and oversee special events, banquets, and catering services

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 5 years in a director-level position within luxury hospitality
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large teams and multiple dining outlets
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, particularly in the luxury segment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and point-of-sale systems
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction
