The Design Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the design and project management processes for new developments, renovations, and brand compliance across the company’s hospitality portfolio.

Main accountabilities :

• Liase with the Executive Design director and DTS leads and assist in the coordination on design projects, including new builds, refurbishments, conversions and franchise
• Provide support during preparation of Brand Validation document
• Assist and coordinate the Interior Design consultant selection
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure project alignment with brand standards.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to established milestones.
•  Review architectural and interior design plans from schematic to DD package for compliance with brand guidelines, standards and operational needs.
•  Review process of design submissions and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Review Interior Design concepts for allocated projects and support on all projects when required
• Review the color, materials, shop drawings, finish samples for allocated projects and support on all projects when required
• Review FF&E specifications to ensure they meet Accor Brand Standards and allocated budget
• Provide assistance and coordination in Value engineering process on all projects
• Conduct site and MUR visits as needed to ensure design execution aligns with approved concepts.
• Support final inspections and design snag lists to ensure quality control before project handover

Key interactions :

• Internally: Senior Accor Management, developers, wellness,  F&B experts, procurement , purchasing and both corporate and hotel operations
• Externally: owners, developers, designers, promotors, suppliers, contractors, various project consultants

Main complexity / critical issues in the job :

• Define the interior designer’s selection/proposal with the Global Brand Design leaders for all projects
• Provide support to Executive Design director and D&TS leads for Development Brand Image Pitches
• Coordinate the project’s interior design validation steps with and DTS Leads ID Leads and Global Brand Design leaders

• Educated at degree level in Interior Design / Architecture
• Fluent in English (Additional language skills – desired)
• Comprehensive understanding of hotel operations
• Ability to travel extensively

Competencies

• An eye for detail, good analytical skills
• Highly organized, charismatic, hands-on team player and negotiation skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project, InDesign, AutoCAD, Photoshop, or similar design presentation software
