We have an excellent team with diverse background, education and skills making it a comfortable working environment.
- To be responsible for consistently producing mise-en-place and dishes to the recipe specifications.
- To be responsible for establishing and maintaining high sanitation standards in the work station.
- To assist the Chef de Partie in the production of the mise-en-place for the elaboration of the all menus according to the standard recipes.
- To monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
- To be responsible in guiding the Commis towards their job performance by giving feedback and discuss areas of improvement.
- To assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and distribution of all food items to all outlets and functions and leads section in the absence of a Chef de Partie.
- Check the taste, temperature and visual appeal of food items prepared to ensure that the quality and portion are consistent and as per specifications set out.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Positive attitude.
- Previous relevant work and hospitality experience.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of various work situations.
