Job Description

Bonjour! At Sofitel, hospitality is an art, and every guest experience begins the moment they arrive. As a Commissionaire, every arrival is an opportunity to create a lasting first impression. As the face of Sofitel, you will deliver a warm, instinctive and refined welcome, ensuring each guest experience reflects the elegance and sophistication of the Magnifique journey. With a natural sense of anticipation and attention to detail, you will provide seamless, efficient service that feels both personal and effortless.

In this role, you will intuitively understand guest needs, offering prompt assistance either directly or through thoughtful coordination with your fellow ambassadors. From facilitating smooth arrivals to managing bespoke arrangements, you will curate a guest journey that is polished, gracious and truly memorable. Your presence will set the tone, balancing professionalism with genuine warmth.

Working closely with the valet and bell desk teams, you will ensure every vehicle is handled with the utmost care, returned in pristine condition and with personal settings thoughtfully maintained. You will take pride in safeguarding guest belongings and delivering a level of service that is both meticulous and discreet, elevating every moment into a luxury experience.


Qualifications

About You

You bring previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or premium service environment, with a natural ability to create a refined and welcoming first impression. You are highly organised and thrive in a dynamic setting, confidently managing multiple priorities from coordinating vehicle movements and overseeing driveway flow to warmly greeting guests with professionalism and poise.

With a keen eye for detail, you take pride in maintaining impeccable standards across every touchpoint. Whether ensuring the presentation of the driveway or carefully checking vehicles and safeguarding guest belongings, your attentiveness reflects a commitment to excellence.

Above all, you are passionate about delivering personalised, luxury service. You understand the importance of discretion, anticipation and genuine connection, consistently embodying the Sofitel brand and elevating each guest experience with care and sophistication.

You hold a valid Australian Driver’s License and are flexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, contributing to smooth, uninterrupted operations and exceptional guest experiences.

You hold full Australian working rights, allowing you to work with us without restriction.
