Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea, positioned in the Kingdom’s groundbreaking Red Sea Project, will provide visitors access to a nature-focused resort. With 361 rooms, eleven distinct dining concepts, including overwater restaurants with views of the Red Sea and the mangroves, and a spa. The resort will be situated next to an 18 hole championship golf course, reflecting Fairmont’s association as a world class golf destination. It will set new standards in sustainable development, positioned on 200km of untouched coastline, an archipelago of more than 90 unspoiled islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine habitat, and ancient archaeological sites.


Job Description

Raffles the Red Sea, located in the picturesque coastal city of Umluj, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an exceptional Chief Concierge to lead our concierge team and elevate our guest experience to new heights. As the Chief Concierge, you will be the face of our luxury resort, ensuring that every guest receives personalized, world-class service that exceeds their expectations.

  • Oversee and manage the concierge team, providing leadership, training, and mentorship to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, attractions, and service providers to offer exclusive experiences to our guests
  • Create and implement innovative concierge services and programs that align with the Raffles brand standards
  • Handle VIP guest requests and complex itineraries with the utmost attention to detail and discretion
  • Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences across all touchpoints
  • Stay informed about local and regional events, attractions, and cultural experiences to provide expert recommendations to guests
  • Manage the concierge budget and resources effectively
  • Continuously seek ways to improve guest services and implement best practices in luxury hospitality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in luxury hospitality, with a proven track record in concierge services or guest relations
  • Les Clefs d'Or certification preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and mentoring
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of Umluj and the surrounding areas, including local attractions, dining options, and cultural experiences
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrated understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations
