Job Description

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your station, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service, especially during busy periods
  • Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed

Qualifications

  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort environment
  • Proficient in preparing and cooking a variety of cuisines, with a focus on high-quality, innovative dishes
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining high standards of service and efficiency
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring compliance at all times
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and deliver exceptional guest experiences
