- Prepare, cook, and present dishes, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your station, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service, especially during busy periods
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort environment
- Proficient in preparing and cooking a variety of cuisines, with a focus on high-quality, innovative dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining high standards of service and efficiency
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring compliance at all times
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and deliver exceptional guest experiences
