Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Chef de Partie (Arabic Cuisine Specialization)  to join our culinary team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the cold kitchen section, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation while maintaining efficient operations.

  • Manage daily operations of the Arabic cuisine section, specializing in authentic Arabic dishes, salads, mezze, and traditional specialties.
  • Prepare high-quality dishes according to authentic recipes and established standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely and efficient food service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Arabic kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Contribute to menu planning and development, with a focus on innovative and traditional Arabic cuisine.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Arabic culinary techniques and preparations.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and maintain proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies for the Arabic section.
  • Assist in portion control and food cost management for Arabic cuisine items.
  • Participate in regular kitchen meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining consistent food quality and presentation.

Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
  • At least 2 years’ experience as Chef de Partie or similar, specializing in Arabic cuisine
  • Strong skills in preparing authentic Arabic dishes, salads, mezze, and desserts
  • Good knowledge of Arabic cooking techniques and ingredients
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Food safety certification and strong hygiene awareness
  • Experience with kitchen equipment and efficient kitchen operations
  • Leadership skills to train and mentor junior staff
  • Creative, organized, and able to work under pressure
  • Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina for standing long hours and lifting as needed
