We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Catering & Conference Services Executive to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of catering and conference services for our organization, ensuring exceptional experiences for our clients and guests.
- Plan, organize, and execute catering and conference events, from initial client consultation to post-event evaluation
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards
- Collaborate with clients to create customized menus and event layouts that meet their specific needs and preferences
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution
- Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance for catering and conference service teams
- Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies for catering and conference services
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper sanitation standards
- Handle client inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Continuously improve service quality and operational efficiency through feedback analysis and process improvements
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into event planning and execution
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in catering, event planning, or hospitality industry
- Proven track record in event planning and coordination
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Excellent budgeting and financial management abilities
- Proficiency in menu planning and knowledge of food and beverage industry trends
- Exceptional vendor management and negotiation skills
- Outstanding time management and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Food Safety Certification preferred
- Familiarity with local health and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
Hotel Overview: Overlooking one of Cairo’s most beautiful Nile views, Nile City Towers complex is a business destination claim to Egypt’s corporate success. Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
