Job Description
Food Runner duties include precise review of all kitchen tickets, communicating well with the kitchen and FOH team, delivering food to the guests in a detailed and friendly manner.
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Communicating with the Kitchen and FOH team efficiently
- Taking food items from the kitchen to the guest tables with grace, precision, and speed
- Detail oriented
- Executing side work daily with precision
- Carrying a tray and a tray jack that weigh up to 25 pounds at a swift pace efficiently
- Conversing with the guest naturally and respectfully
- Providing Five Diamond Service to our External and Internal guests daily
Qualifications
- 2 years previous fine dining service experience required
- Previous Point of Sale System experience an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
