Job Description

The Finance & Accounting Europe North Africa department is looking for a billing accountant within the Billing Center of Excellence located in Bucharest and serving the Accor ENA Region.

This position will be key to ensure the quality of billing process for hotel owners and for Accor group, having also a key role in relations with the Finance teams in the Europe North Africa region.

Main responsibilities:

Within the billing department, you are responsible for the following tasks within a dedicated scope:

 

  • Manage automatic billing groups launch each month
  • Monitor validation of fees amounts
  • Manage standard payment application in the system based on daily bank statements
  • Receive & issue of ad-hoc invoicing & credit notes
  • Be the contact for Credit Managers when investigating in invoicing history for customer accounts
  • Act as main interface with Hotel Owners as regards invoicing process. Relay information around orders to/from hotel owners versus internal teams.
  • Provide the agreed reports and contribute to the short-term cash forecast exercise

Qualifications

Your experience and skills should include:

  • Minimum of 1/2 years post-graduation experience 
  • Ability to manage time well with strong organizational skills 
  • Autonomous, ability to make decisions
  • Team leadership success in previous roles
  • Ability to analyze and summarize
  • Flexibility in terms of managing one-off problems, projects, missions
  • Language: English must have, French is a plus
  • Tools: Oracle, Microsoft Office
