Mr Mills is an eclectic destination bar, located beneath Marmelo, capturing the playful and energetic spirit of Melbourne’s distinctive laneway nightlife. Beyond the DJ’s booth, sink into plush lounge seating for late night snacks, extensive cocktail menu and wine list, cool vibes and DJ grooves.
Marmelo and Mr Mills are located within Hyde Melbourne Place and co-operated by multi award-winning, restaurateurs – Ross & Sunny Lusted.
Job Description
We're looking for a bartender to support bar operations in Marmelo and Mr Mills. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where quality, creativity and service are always the focus.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks with consistency and flair.
Engage with guests in a warm, confident, and attentive manner to deliver exceptional customer service.
Set up and pack down the bar each shift, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and stock readiness.
Assist with stock rotation, inventory and reporting low stock or supply needs
Stay current with bar trends, seasonal offerings and signature cocktails.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
Minimum 1 year of experience as a cocktail bartender in a high-volume or premium venue.
Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktails, and bar techniques.
Confident and engaging interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach
Experience in cocktail menu development is a bonus
Current Victorian RSA Certificate
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
