Bartender

We've opened our first UK hotel outside of London…and where better than the characterful capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. We are now looking for a Bartender to join our team and play a crucial part in successfully launching our brand in this new neighbourhood. Reporting to the Bar Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and guests needs are anticipated.

The Hox boasts 214 bedrooms influenced by the Georgian heritage of the building and city (including the introduction of a new room category for the Hox), a main restaurant and big lobby & bar, a large event space and The Apartment - our unique meetings and events concept.

Experience Italian glam and romance at Patatino, our all-day restaurant, designed to capture the essence of long, joyful, and convivial meals shared with friends on a sun-soaked Amalfi coast holiday. Imagine pizza, pasta and a Negroni or two!

What you’ll do…

• Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves.
• Know your product and systems inside out.
• Make whatever the mood calls for, from soft drinks to masterful cocktails that change with the seasons.
• Work with the rest of the team in keeping things running smoothly.
• Be more than a Bartender – willing to lend a hand and help the F&B team as a whole.
