Bartender, Fairmont The Red Sea

Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea, positioned in the Kingdom’s groundbreaking Red Sea Project, will provide visitors access to a nature-focused resort. With 361 rooms, eleven distinct dining concepts, including overwater restaurants with views of the Red Sea and the mangroves, and a spa. The resort will be situated next to an 18 hole championship golf course, reflecting Fairmont’s association as a world class golf destination. It will set new standards in sustainable development, positioned on 200km of untouched coastline, an archipelago of more than 90 unspoiled islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine habitat, and ancient archaeological sites.

Fairmont The Re Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will craft exceptional cocktails and beverages while delivering outstanding service in our upscale resort environment. You will be the face of our bar operations, creating memorable experiences for our guests through your expertise, professionalism, and engaging personality.

Reporting to the Outlet Supervisor / Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar station, ensuring all equipment and glassware are properly maintained
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on beverage selections and menu offerings to enhance guest satisfaction
• Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash and card payments with precision
• Monitor and manage bar inventory, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and ensuring repeat visits
• Maintain composure and efficiency during peak service periods in a fast-paced environment
• Follow all company policies and procedures while representing the Raffles brand with excellence

• Proven bartending experience in a luxury hospitality or upscale resort setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of Mocktail preparation, and beverage service standards
• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and bar management software
• Strong understanding of non-alcoholic beverages
• Excellent cash handling and inventory management skills
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse guests
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Knowledge of health, safety
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are preferred
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian culture and hospitality expectations is preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Team player mentality with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
