Founded in 2008 by Serge Trigano and his sons Jérémie and Benjamin (co-founder of Club Med), Mama Shelter is a creator of living spaces and a director on a daily basis!

The Barista is responsible for promoting MAMA Shelter’s coffee program by educating guests, selling, preparing, and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and other items on the menu. To be successful in your role of Barista, you must be a genuine coffee lover who embodies the MAMA Spirit in all that you do.  

Job Overview: 

• You’re a stickler for great service. 

• You ensure guests receive amazing coffee.  

• You’re able to create latte art. 

• You stay current with MAMA Shelter Coffee offerings through tastings and trainings. 

• You are genuine in providing our guests with superior service. 

• Ensure guests complaints are promptly addressed by management. 

• Maintain workspaces are kept impeccably clean and tidy at all times. 

• Have a clear knowledge on all inventory products. 

• Follows proper cash handling and payment procedures. 

• Maintain safe work habits and work environments. 

• Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in high volume hotel or coffee shop.  

• You’re able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. 

• You jump out of bed each morning fizzing with energy. 

• Multi-tasker- You’ll know how to balance the needs of the guests, while upholding the needs of MAMA.  

• You’re able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and Holidays. 

• You’re not easily stressed and perform at your best under pressure.   

• You’re dependable and punctual.
