Job Description
We’re looking for an enthusiastic barista to join our team at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort. In this hands-on role, you’ll craft high-quality coffee and beverages while providing a welcoming experience for guests across Sola Restaurant, Deli Cafe & Market and Conference Centre.
Your friendly attitude, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be key in delivering outstanding service. If you love coffee, enjoy connecting with people and thrive in a supportive team, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and specialty beverages
- Provide friendly, professional and attentive service to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of coffee stations and equipment
- Assist with stock management and ensure supplies are available when needed
- Support team members during busy periods and contribute to a positive team culture
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Barista qualifications or relevant experience preferred
- Previous experience in a similar hospitality role
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
