Job Description

Banquets Coordinator

The Banquet department is seeking for a highly dynamic and organized industry professional. This position will be responsible for creating new ways to execute the daily operations in a very busy environment.

This is a full-time, permanent position, starting in January 2025.

Salary Range: $54,000 - $56,000

Job Duties Include:

  • Accurately processing, photocopying and distributing all banquet EOs
  • Managing all guest comments and apply appropriate follow up
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining all banquet colleague files
  • Processing all maintenance requests and distributes weekly reports on status
  • Checks daily rosters and apply all on-going modifications
  • Ordering all stationary and maintaining adequate par-stocks for the office & meeting planner boxes
  • Attend the daily conference services meeting and apply all changes as needed
  • Provide support for all Banquet Leaders
  • Preparation of all Banquet signage and labels
  • Payroll responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational skills are essential
  • Detail oriented
  • Previous banquet experience an asset
  • Thorough knowledge of office administration including Word, Excel, InfoGenesis, Delphi, Publisher and LANmark
  • Hospitality/post secondary degree an asset
  • Previous supervisory experience an asset
