Following the success of Cibaria Manly, which opened earlier this year, Cibaria Noosa marks the next chapter in Pavoni’s culinary journey - and his first venue outside of Sydney. Positioned on vibrant Hastings Street and set within the surrounds of the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, Cibaria is an elevated yet approachable expression of contemporary Italian dining, that embraces the European way of socialising, all day every day. 

Drawing on Italy’s rich culinary heritage and inspired by the vibrant Italian piazza, it offers everything from morning espresso and long coastal lunches to golden-hour aperitivo and relaxed dinners with friends. Every detail at Cibaria is designed to celebrate Italian warmth, flavour, and heartfelt hospitality. 


Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and vibrant Assistant Venue Manager to provide support to our Venue Manager.

We value personality, Italianity, and passion in our team members, so if you have prior experience with Italian cuisine and are ready to showcase your hospitable, charismatic, and neighbourhood-loving personality, we want to hear from you!

  • Shift management
  • Ensuring the smooth and consistent delivery of service
  • Delivery of daily staff briefings prior to every service
  • Writing daily shift reports
  • Banking
  • Ongoing staff performance management

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • Hold a current RSA Certificate
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Computer literacy is a must
  • Minimum 2 years in managerial role
  • Great memory for faces and ability to engage customers and staff and build excellent rapport
  • Italian food & wine knowledge
  • Formal hospitality studies completed
  • Polite personal manner, both face to face and over the phone
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Understanding of hospitality cost control measures
  • Ability to keep cool under pressure
  • Strong team leading skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Hours can vary and include weekend and holiday work Preferred Requirements:
  • Formal wine studies completed
  • Experience with SevenRooms or other online reservations platform
  • Speak Italian? Bonus!
  • Prior venue opening experience
