Job Description

Reporting to Restaurant General Manager, Assistant Restaurant Reservations Manager oversees the reservations process, ensures smooth guest booking experiences, and drives revenue through proactive sales strategies. This role combines operational excellence with a strong commercial mindset to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction. 

What you will do: 

  • Oversee daily operations of the reservations desk.
  • Maintain and update reservation systems accurately.
  • Monitor table occupancy and optimize seating to maximize revenue.
  • Identify upselling opportunities (special menus, wine pairings, private dining).
  • Promote seasonal offers, events, and loyalty programs during the booking process
  • Provide prompt, courteous responses to guest inquiries.
  • Communicate reservation details to staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Train and supervise hostess team.
  • Prepare reports on reservation trends and sales conversions.
  • Analyse booking data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and reviews on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TripAdvisor.
  • Monitor online reservations and integrate digital campaigns with booking systems.
  • Use social media insights to identify guest preferences and trends.

Qualifications

  • Service focused personality is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role for a busy venue in UAE is highly desired. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for service
  • Previous experience on Applications i.e. Eat App or Seven Rooms is an advantage. 
  • Should have exposure to Social Media Platforms.
