Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Delta Rue, supporting the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional daily operations and a consistently high standard of guest experience.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor ready to take the next step into management within a luxury hotel environment.
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will take a hands-on leadership role, supporting the team during service, developing our people and creating warm, professional and personalised experiences for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day operation of Delta Rue.
- Lead the floor during service, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience.
- Coach, support and develop the restaurant team, including training and onboarding.
- Build a strong service culture focused on genuine, personalised guest interactions.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, service and restaurant cleanliness.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve service issues when required.
- Lead pre-service briefings and ensure the team is prepared for each service period.
- Work closely with the kitchen and wider Food & Beverage team to deliver seamless service.
- Support rostering and daily operational requirements while ensuring RSA, food safety, WHS and hotel procedures are consistently followed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar leadership role within a quality restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment.
- Ready to take the next step into an Assistant Restaurant Manager position.
- Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Confident leading and motivating a team during busy service periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A hands-on, organised and solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in developing people and building a strong team culture.
- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
