Job Description

  • Supervises, trains, and motivates Purchasing staff while ensuring proper completion and approval of all purchase order requests.

  • Works closely with the Executive Chef and F&B Director to purchase high-quality products at the lowest prices, including negotiating food prices and ensuring prompt delivery.

  • Coordinates inventories, capital project purchases, and maintains strong supplier relationships, including conducting supplier premise checks and surprise audits to ensure HACCP compliance.

  • Obtains competitive price quotations, generates purchase orders with required authorization, and provides the Financial Controller with monthly purchasing summaries.

  • Manages team functions including interviewing, selecting, developing team members, conducting performance reviews, and maintaining training programs.

  • Ensures safety, quality, sustainability, and compliance by supporting Accor ALEART procedures, monitoring departmental quality performance, and participating in crisis management requirements.


Qualifications

  • Diploma education
  • Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience with at least 1 year at a supervisory level
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills
  • Service oriented with an eye for details
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
