Job Description

What you'll be doing:

As an Assistant Manager, you will lead the team across all areas of Front Office and play a crucial role in providing a first-class luxury experience for our guests. You are able to manage your time and can handle juggling numerous tasks at once. You have an outcome driven approach to performance and results. This pivotal role demands an individual with a meticulous eye for detail, exceptional leadership capabilities, and an unwavering dedication to excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and manage the day to day operations of the hotel whilst leading and inspiring the team to enhance the guest experience – every guest, every interaction, every day. 
  • Be proactive and resourceful when attending to guest requests.
  • Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and productive.
  • Have the necessary skills and training to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers.
  • Provide guidance, support training and leadership to all employees.
  • Monitor training and offer guidance to employees whilst on shift.
  • Assist in all areas of the hotel during peak times to eliminate potential issues.
  • Take responsibility for the health and safety of all patrons, guests and staff members.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Previous Front Office experience in the hotel industry is essential, with knowledge of the luxury market preferred.
  • An uncompromising commitment to providing an exceptional experience for our guests
  • A natural, bright and bubbly customer service style that sets you apart from the rest
  • Be a calming influence in the midst of a high pressured, fast paced environment, with the ability to sustain and drive positive team morale creating a culture that people want to be part of.
  • Natural leadership skills with demonstrated results in developing and motivating teams, your lead by example approach will be infectious
  • Be a progressive, creative professional who remains pragmatic and focused in an ever changing and challenging environment.
