Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Catering Sales to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving our catering sales efforts and ensuring exceptional client experiences. As an integral member of our catering department, you will collaborate with various teams to deliver outstanding events and achieve revenue targets.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive marketing, networking, and referrals
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships to drive repeat business
  • Promptly respond to catering inquiries and provide detailed, customized quotes
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with culinary and operations teams to create tailored menus and maintain high-quality food and service standards
  • Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including venue logistics, staffing, and equipment requirements
  • Work in tandem with other departments (e.g., banquets, F&B) to ensure seamless event execution
  • Conduct engaging site visits and tastings with potential and existing clients
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in the market

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management
  • Proven experience in catering sales or the hospitality industry
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Proficiency in catering management software and MS Office Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, catering operations, and event planning
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing client accounts
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Team player with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional events
