Job Description

  • Assist in managing daily IT operations, including networks, servers, telecommunications, and hotel systems
  • Ensure high availability and performance of Property Management Systems (PMS), POS systems, and guest-facing technologies
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance
  • Ensure reliable high-speed internet access throughout the property
  • Support in-room technology, smart room features, and entertainment systems
  • Collaborate with front office and guest services to resolve IT-related guest issues promptly
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and brand standards
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to incidents
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers
  • Support IT-related projects such as system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
  • Help manage IT budgets, procurement, and inventory
  • Assist in developing and executing the hotel’s IT strategy
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction through technology
  • Stay current with emerging hospitality tech trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5–8 years of IT experience, preferably in hospitality or luxury hotel environments
  • Experience with hotel systems such as PMS (e.g., Opera), POS, and guest internet solutions
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience required
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems administration
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
