Job Description

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to engineering teams.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing engineering projects.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Recruit and hire talented engineering professionals.
  • Develop and manage engineering budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure product and service excellence.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.
  • Identify and address quality issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as manufacturing, operations, and sales, to achieve organizational goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.
  • Several years of experience in engineering roles, including project management and team leadership.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • A strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
